Vendor Spotlight ~ Pen and Primer, aka Winterheart

Winterheart is inspired by our love of winter and the good life we live surrounded by water and mountains in our home in Seward.  Our surroundings inspire our “maker” side whether it is building chairs from old wooden skis for our porch or fashioning skirts from upcycled sweaters to ward off the chill skiing or hiking.  Our beach hangings are the result of years of cleaning beaches on the Eastern Kenai Peninsula and a desire to keep as much out of the landfill as possible – 10% of beach hanging sales go to help fund continuing beach cleanup efforts. Completing a neglected log cabin shell entirely with recycled materials has inspired our oar and ski racks, cupboards, cabin d├ęcor and furniture building.  The result is a variety of accessories and necessities made for Alaska living.  Most of what we offer started life as something else, and we are very proud of that.  Dan and Madelyn Walker

Vendor Spotlight ~ The Distressed Mermaid

The Distressed Mermaid has just recently become a dream come true! However my love for antique furniture comes from very long ago, when my Mom and Dad would take me to the furniture auctions every weekend as a young girl. After my first daughter was born I painted my first dresser and haven't stopped since!!
This is my first market show and I am beyond excited and nervous and await with great anticipation.

Vendor Spotlight ~ The Bear Scentials

I started dabbling in candle making over 18 years ago and have worked hard to test and perfect my recipes while still keeping the personal, handmade touch.  I used to just make fragranced items for family & friends, then expanded to open my business in 2006.
I still personally make each and every one of my handmade items as well as attend all of our bazaars and craft shows to try to personally meet each customer.  I love the friends and relationships I've built through the years and that is why I rarely sell wholesale.  I want to provide the best possible experience for my customers, and feel it's an experience you can't gain in a store (ok, and may be it's also because I'm a bit of a control freak.)
I make every item in our Wasilla, Alaska home.  I am a certified Made In Alaska crafter.  I am proud of my products and proud of our great state--we have so many creative people that call Alaska home.  I am continuously adding new and exciting items to keep my customers with many choices and options to fragrance their homes and lives.  I always welcome feedback.
My motto is:  "It's easy to sell something ONE time, the key is to make items that are worth enjoying and sharing so I may gain longtime customers and friends."
Thank you again for visiting my online shop.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me thebearscentials@gmail.com and please follow me on Facebook & Instagram!

Vendor Spotlight ~ Rustique Designs

My name is Ashleigh, I'm the owner and operator of Rustique Designs located here in Palmer, Alaska. I make handmade, hand painted wood signs with a farmhouse, fixer upper feel.
Rustique Designs was created from my vision and deep rooted passion to share my love of farmhouse decor, and my belief that the words we surround ourselves with can truly impact our heart, mind and soul. I find so much joy in creating one of a kind signs to inspire you, make you laugh, and make your heart smile. I put my heart and soul into each sign, and I strive to show that in the quality of each sign I make.
Outside of sign making, I work full time as an insurance agent. I'm also the wife to the hardest working man I have ever met, and the momma to two the most inspiring little 4 years olds. So much of my designs are created and inspired by these three ❤️
This past year I have been blessed to be part of Revive Home Market in Eagle River, where you will find my signs displayed and sold.
Make sure to come check out my page, the shop, and stop by and say hello at the Farmhouse Market this summer.

Vendor Spotlight ~ Twitterpated

My name is Heather Gerrits, owner of Twitterpated, and I've been sewing and creating things since I was in high school. My love for sewing pretty things grew when I had a little girl of my own. She is my biggest fan and also helps me in choosing the final details when I just can't decide.
I put my heart into each item I make. Many hours are spent choosing the perfect fabrics and taking care to add details. Although I try my hardest to be a perfectionist, my dolls are not perfect, just like all of us. I like to think that any imperfect qualities that my dolls may have just make them a unique piece of art.
